More than 400 writers from all over the world submitted entries on this year’s festival theme Borders. the entries of our 13 finalist winners were performed at the annual
hear me out labor day festival & Awards Ceremony.

The unique accomplishments of the top prize-winning writers were celebrated by our 6 esteemed Finalist Judges: Gretchen Cryer, Gary Garrison, Charlayne Woodard, Craig Lucas, Christine Toy Johnson and Austin Pendleton.

And a new Call for Entries was announced for the forthcoming Alvin Epstein Memorial Prize for Solo Performance. (valentine’s day 2022)
